The Rules
and Duration of the six games of the Garry Kasparov vs. Zuparb
Azmaiparashvili clash have been determined by the organisers.
Competition will be held at the Haroupomylos Cultural & Convention
Centre in the village of Panormos, some 20 kilometres east of the city
of Rethymnon, in Crete, and will include two rapid and four blitz
games. The schedule begins at 17:00 local time (14:00 GMT), with the
first of the two rapid matches, with Kasparov playing in white. For
the rapid games, each player shall have 25 minutes, plus 10 seconds for
each move. For the blitz games, each player shall have 5 minutes, plus
3 seconds for each move.
